Jeny Lau will assume the position of chief financial officer at MGM China, effective August 1, 2026. The executive director transition follows a corporate filing submitted to the New York Stock Exchange on July 31.
Financial Oversight and Executive Background
In her new capacity, Lau will direct the company’s financial operations. The NYSE disclosure outlines her responsibilities, which include financial reporting, treasury management, cage operations, accounting for both gaming and non-gaming divisions, budgeting, investor relations, and supply chain oversight.Lau brings extensive leadership experience to the finance division. She has served as chief operating officer and director of the Grand Paradise group since 2015, while also holding a director position at MGM Grand Paradise. Her previous career includes tenure as COO and director at Phoenix Property Investors, where she managed finance, accounting, fund administration, and project financing.
Additionally, she previously acted as CFO and executive director for the Hong Kong-listed developer SOCAM Development.
The leadership change coincides with positive operational metrics for the resort operator. MGM China reported increased visitor traffic and revenue growth across its properties during the first half of 2026.
